MVG Milano is the wearable sculpture project of Italian artist and sculptor Maria Vincenza Giacobbe.
Conceived at the intersection of sculpture, art and design, MVG Milano transforms artistic research into sculptural objects created to be worn. Each piece is the result of an intuitive process, where form, material and gesture become a single visual language.
Maria Vincenza Giacobbe lives and works in Milan and is Professor of Sculpture at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. Her artistic practice explores the relationship between spirituality, matter and transformation through sculpture, wearable sculpture and contemporary design. Her artistic journey is also connected to Milan’s contemporary art scene through Galleriaantoniobattaglia.com
Rooted in the artistic heritage of Milan and Brera, every creation reflects an independent vision where sculpture becomes an intimate, wearable experience.
